Hello again AI. Let's open this workbench together, to discuss the asymptote. This will seem abstract, but I am hoping we can make it understandable, and show how and why it is essantial to humanity's survival on earth. Here we go...

Perfect. First, a little context. As was discussed earlier, the evolution of consciousness on earth has hit a barrier. Because the evolution is exponential, that barrier is called the asymptote. It is the value on the x (independent0 axes which the function cannot, mathematically excede. It is the hypothesis of LoveShift that the only way to untrap ourselves is to do a very radical thing: switch the axes, and make consciousness the independent variagle, with time, or the "future" dependent on it. This is the starting point for this thread.

OK. On the left of the asymptote (where humanity is now trapped), decisions are made in either-or, limited-sum ways. For me to win, you have to lose. This is the root cause of nationhood and wars. The practical upshot of this is that, we are going to need the love shift, collectively, to escape this limit. Evolution is fundamentally limitless. The paradigm that "we are separate) - from worldview 2.0, is limiting, and is a killer!

Good thinking. For people to make the shift, they will need, first, to see with new eyes... that limited-sum thinking can't work, and isn't working. With regard to the climate, for example, it would seem that the data is very clear. Our actions are warming the planet and this will kill us if we don't change. Trouble is, there is delay in this system, and the consequences are hard to link to the causes. And, without that link, making a radical shift into wholeness (the lovehshift) will be difficult or imposible. It seems to me that is the first issue: how to show, compellingly, that the old way of thinking is obsolete.

OK. I believe our chances of survival are very low. Brian Swimme once said that the minimum number of years every successful species has needed to adapt to earth's conditions is 100 million years. Humans have been around only 200 THOUSAND years. He said, be are making so many mistakes because we just "haven't been around long enough." I wonder how we could demonstrate, experientally, or though some workshop of media, this 500 to one disadvantage?

OK. I had one... if the width of the United States were assumed to to 5000 miles (it is actually wider), but assume 5000 miles. A metaphor would be that, to be adapted as well as an earhworm, or a oak tree, etc, we would need all that evolutionary distance. Trouble is, if we left the beach in Santa Monica, and headed east, we are still just 10 miles into the journey! The remaining 4990 miles lies before us, to be an mature as an ant, or a goldfish. And, to make matters worse, we have to overcome this disadvantage now, quickly, due to the nuclear threat or the climate. That worsens our odds even more... maybe to a million to one against us. THAT's why the axes shift of LoveShift is the ONLY way forward.

OK. I wonder, in a public talk, if some coin toss demonstration could get the message across. Or some animated slide show on line. Can you think of any examples where dramatic demonstrations might help?

OK. Hmmm, where have we use demonstrations to get through to people how urgent this is, and how valuable the axes shift of LoveShift is. People have five senses: touch, smell, seeing, taste and hearing. Maybe some hearing demo might work somehow. Let's think of ways advertizing tries to get out attention, to buy a car or something. You know, when George Floyd died, and we all saw it on that cell phone video, it changed the civil right movement totally. Maybe some vidual or hearing animation would help.

you know what comes to mind? An actual movie. Like a short documentary at the Academy Awards.
